We're Pregnant!

Reuben and I have been married for a year and a half. Having been asked often, we shared our plans with family and friends to try and start a family early this year. My family, with their wonderful sense of humor, bought me pregnancy tests as a gag gift last Christmas, but knowing that it was too early I put them away for another day. However, on Saturday March 7th I decided it was time to try the tests. I took one...Positive! I took the other...Positive! Just to be sure those weren't defective we bought another pack of tests and the third was also...Positive! And for my doctor, I took another test two days later at work. Drumoll please...Positive!

Reuben and I are very excited about the journey of pregnancy and parenting ahead and hope to keep you all updated with stories and pictures as we go along. Below is a picture of one of the tests. It's a little blurry, but there is no mistaking the + sign on the left.
